Sunset River House sits right on the St. Johns River at 117 Riverside Blvd, East Palatka, Florida 32131. You are on the quiet east side of the river, with wide open water views and some of the best sunsets in Putnam County from the back deck and the 175-foot private dock.

Getting here is easy. Downtown St. Augustine and its historic district are about 30 minutes east. Crescent Beach is about 25 minutes away, and with a four-wheel-drive vehicle you can drive right onto the sand. Jacksonville International Airport is roughly an hour and fifteen minutes north, and Orlando is about two hours south.

The house is built for time on the water. Public boat ramps are only minutes away, and the St. Johns here is known as the Bass Capital of the World. Rodman Reservoir, famous for trophy largemouth, is a short drive south, and Lake George, the second largest lake in Florida, is an easy run by boat or car. Bring your own boat and tie up at the dock, or rent a jet ski on site.

When you are off the water, the Palatka area has a weekly farmer's market, local seafood and barbecue, Ravine Gardens State Park, and antique shopping, while St. Augustine adds historic tours, distilleries, and the beach. Whether you come to fish a tournament, bring the family, or just watch the sun go down over the river, you are close to all of it.
